"We came here for breakfast and really enjoyed the overall experience. The interior and ambiance are beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed — not too loud, with soft background music that makes it easy to relax and have a conversation. The space is air-conditioned, very clean, easy to find, and offers both traditional floor seating (Japanese-style) as well as regular tables and chairs. Our server, Rafiq, was very kind, attentive, and spoke English, which made the visit smooth and comfortable. We ordered the two breakfast dishes shown in the photos, along with a matcha latte and a cappuccino. The main dishes were excellent and full of flavor. The matcha was very concentrated and quite overpowering for our taste, while the cappuccino and pastries were fantastic. The menu accommodates various dietary preferences (including vegetarian and halal), and for the price, it’s absolutely worth it. Minor points aside, it’s a great spot for breakfast, remote work, or a relaxed start to the day — we’d gladly return."

"What a great spot. A real gem of a find. Everything we had today was great. They have an amazing selection of unique beautiful desserts and baked goods - including croissants and sourdough. Other light breakfasts and lunches are also available. Delicious. The staff are very friendly and help you in choosing from their online menu. The place is quite busy. When you come in, someone will greet you and show you to your seat, or let you know how long it will be until a spot might open up. The atmosphere is truly unique. You can sit at normal tables, or you may want to sit at traditional style seating at low tables with your footwear removed. Some people are lying down, while others sitting around their eating area. The decor is very stylish and really adds to the experience. Thanks for a great lunch."

The bohemian-style decoration is very nice and special — every corner feels thoughtfully designed and instagramable The food was good too, nicely presented and satisfying. The environment is cosy and comfortable, making it a great place for friends and family gatherings. Definitely a lovely spot to chill and catch up!"

"Had breakfast at Utoo Boho and really enjoyed the experience. I went for the big breakfast generous spread and a nice touch with the fresh-squeezed orange juice. My wife had the shakshuka and absolutely loved it, full of flavour and very satisfying. Total bill came to RM117 for 3 pax, which felt very reasonable for the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. The atmosphere is relaxed with great vibes, making it a comfortable spot. We sat at the low tables on the floor, which were super cute and perfectly matched the aesthetic of the place. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and comfortable. "A must-visit in Penang! If you visit Penang, you absolutely have to come here. Utoo Boho Café has a beautiful interior — no matter where you sit, you’ll get stunning photos. It’s the perfect spot if you love aesthetic places. Not only is the interior amazing, but the food and desserts are absolutely delicious. Everything is perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too salty — just right. And the coffee? So good! I’ve been here twice. On my second visit, we were only planning to stop by for coffee and dessert, but we ended up ordering so many dishes because everything looked and tasted amazing. Most of all, the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, always greeting you with warm smiles. I will definitely come back when I visit Penang again. I hope you get a chance to come and experience it too!"

"Loved the food and drinks here! We had a wonderful experience at Utoo Boho Cafe! The Panna Cotta & Granola was beautifully presented and delicious and is a must-try. Great service and a very lively atmosphere. Only thing to note is that most of the seating is tatami-style, so it might not be the most user-friendly for the elderly. Other than that, everything was perfect!"
